Fielders Choice Sports was founded in 2000, selling equipment and apparel at local baseball and softball tournaments. As demand
increased, we soon found ourselves in a small 250 square foot home on Rt. 44 in Taunton, MA. We quickly became one of the areas
prime spots for baseball and softball equipment and apparel, and also became known for our friendly staff and their wealth of knowledge
that the big chain sporting goods stores don't offer.
Within 3 years the building was under construction adding another 750 sq feet of retail space, a small batting cage, and a team sales
office. We were then able to help our customers by not only helping them find the right equipment, but offering instruction on how to use it
and become a better player. Our team sales office began providing apparel and equipment for entire teams, and eventually even leagues.
Eventually we started to feel a little cramped in that location with the amount of business we were doing and the huge amount of
inventory that we keep on hand. In January of 2011 we moved down the street to our brand new facility, a 13,000 square foot baseball
and softball heaven. In addition to a massive retail space our new location boasts 5 state of the art batting cages complete with
interchangeable pitching machines and pro level Tiger Turf. The cage netting pulls back easily to expose a full turf field house. We love
having the new field house and are now able to provide even more instruction to our customers through personal instruction, strength
and condition sessions, and specialized workouts with our positive and helpful training staff. The field house is also great for indoor team
practices during inclement weather, or just taking some swings in the cages during the winter months.
In addition to the expansion of our retail and training spaces, we also expanded the Team Sales department. Now located in a spacious
office, our Team Sales department has plenty of sample uniforms, allowing us to provide your team service that is second to none.
Fielders Choice now also offers, glove steaming, re-lacing, and a variety of other equipment related services to make sure that not only
do you get the right gear, but that you can get the most out of it.
Through all of our growth, one thing has not changed: "We ARE Baseball and Softball ". We will continue to pride ourselves in having
an unbeatable selection of baseball and softball equipment and apparel, along with the knowledge to assist you in finding what’s right for
