Hero of the Week

Every league dreams to have a final week of the season in
which all games played are deciding factors of final
standings! Dodgeball at Fielders Choice lived up to that
expectation! 3 teams had to battle it out for the 1st, 2nd, and
3rd place spots. Egan’s Angels showed up with their wings and
didn’t give anyone else a chance to take the top spot. They
came out and dominated, winning 7 of 9 games. Egan's
Angels is so dubbed our first place team and will be seeded
#1 in our playoff bracket for week 7.
Interestingly enough 2nd place was not decided until the last
game of the evening. Hit Faced verse DDk: Game 9 of the
night. An intense battle, everyone knowing what was on the
line. As it turns out, Hit Faced has had the youngsters' number
all season, They prevailed, winning two out of the three
matches. What did this mean?? This meant, both teams
ended the season scoring 35 points each, a dead tie! To break
the tie, it was back to the archives to check the head to head
scoring between both teams. Throughout the first 6 weeks Hit
Faced has defeated DDk 8 times this season and DDk only
defeated HF 4 times. HF takes the #2 Seed next week. Well
done all three teams! It has been a great battle!
Next week should get interesting! A single elimination
tournament to determine the overall Dodgeball Champs.

This week's "What Was That" moment (or collection of
moments) goes to Tara of the Broken Ankles. Tara
enthralled the audience, the other team, her own
teammates, but mostly herself with her dance moves
throughout the night. We were lucky enough to catch
most of it on the Dodgecam. Dance on, Tara!
